I am happy to review manuscripts that apply step selection functions (SSFs), hidden Markov models (HMMs), and other statistical models in movement ecology, as well as related topics such as disease movement ecology and cognitive movement ecology. I am also glad to review papers on open data platforms and data fusion, given my role as an associate editor for Journal of Ecology (Data Integrity) and as the founder and data curator of the MoveDisease Archive.
I give priority to requests from open-access and society journals, and to journals whose editorial decisions are grounded in sound statistical reasoning.
